A Coin in the Fountain

Rome, Italy
05/12/07
Docking late in the morning and a 45 minute coach ride to actually reach Rome didn't help. We had a plan. We covered a good amount of ground and saw most all of the things we wanted to see, but it felt rushed. I need more time.
But I did throw my coin in the fountain and that should ensure me a return trip to Rome, some day. When I don't have a ship to catch.
Photos are up.

I am so very glad you posted your photo sets on Flickr. I have really enjoyed following your footsteps through Venice and Rome and Croatia, and living vicariously through your photos. Your pictures are wonderful -- you have a good eye for content and for framing the view.

I hope you and Will publish your annual calendar in 2008 featuring your summer vacation, but I don't know how you will ever narrow it down to only 12 photos -- there are so many excellent images to choose from, and the year is only half over.

Thanks ECG. I thought my Mom was the only one looking and the photos. I'm going in order so next up will be Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Editing them down to the hundres I will post was really tough. I don't know how we're going to settle on only 12 for our calendar.
